Excellence begins when preschoolers read and write by age 4. As a unique gift from God, every child develops differently and at varying degrees of complexity. While it often seems that children develop along some predictable milestones, they may not advance up these steps in the same way or at the same time. The environment and experiences in these early developmental stages of child's life greatly influences who he or she will become.
